Hi Cathy, I think it's looking good so far! You've picked some lovely fabrics. I have to tell you I've made lots of quilts and find it really hard to sew a perfect 1/4" seam. Two hints I was given I'll pass on to you....I did take the 2nd myself and would'nt manage without it!!! 1. Measure 1/4" from your machine needle to the side plate and stick down some masking tape so the edge runs on the exact 1/4". This is where you hold your fabric when you guide it through the needle. 2. Buy a special quilters foot for your machine called the Bigfoot!!! it is 1/4" wide with 1/4" markers for when you get to corners!!!
One of my machine has a 1/4" foot but I still prefer my Bigfoot!!!!
I think it looks fab, and it is very difficult to do, I admire your patience!!!
