There is a buzz in the air .....

the trees are buzzing ;-)

yep, all the blossoms have opened and there was a hive of activity around the trees that line our street - they usually are in full bloom in September, but seem to be a bit early this year ;-)

We had visitors ;-)

I went out to check the letterbox for mail on Friday and this is what greeted me on the driveway

Hubby was on a rare RDO (Rostered Day Off), so we grabbed our cameras and some bread and snapped away ;-)

there were two ducks on our front lawn!

A lovely flower in my garden

Just love the size of this cactus flower - it is about the same size as a side plate (10/12 cm or 6-7 inches)

Spring has Sprung

It was a lovely sight today - the blossoms seemed to all pop up overnight (not quite, but you know what I mean LOL)

Pity about the white balance being wrong !!! 

that's what I get for not checking the camera before taking shots!
