Naughty or Nice?

Time for another card swap - CM June swap cards – Christmas & Sketch (once again, I was extremely late in making and sending these cards)

Card #1 – Christmas

I struggled a little bit for this one ...... not quite in the Christmas spirit just yet LOL

But I went through my Christmas Stamps/Dies & papers and very slowly a plan came together.

I stamped up some images got from Facebook Marketplace (I think) and hand coloured with a soft watercolour using my inks, then added a touch of Kindy Glitz/Stickles.

The centre panel was trimmed, then affixed to some Christmas DP using double-sided tape, which was then attached for the 300gsm cardbase, again using DS tape.

I quite like the 'rustic' fun feel to this one.

Linking Card #1 with the following challenges:

Christmas Crafts All Year Round - July Challenge 'M, N, O'  - I chose 'N' Naughty or NiceCritter Crazy Challenge Blog #112  - cute reindeer & snowman critters

Card #2 – Sketch + Christmas

This card came together quite quickly, once I was in the Christmas mood :)

I have used some DP that came with my 2025 Secret Santa present - it has been such a great paper pad to have on hand.

I stamped up the Santa and sentiment from the MFT Jingle All the Way set and hand cut the Santa out.  I was going to just place the Santa on a diecut circle to fit with the sketch, but I remembered I had some 'wobbles' somewhere in my stash ....... 30 minutes later, I finally found them after putting them away somewhere safe  LOL

None of the usual bling for this card ...... but I am quite pleased with how this card turned out.

Thank you for visiting my blog today - I hope you have a good day.

Noel, Joy, Merry.....

Here are are few more Christmas Cards I managed to make this year - quite pleased with myself!

I bought some digital images a while back from RAM Stamps (Rachelle Anne Miller) and I thought it was about time I used them.  I must say, they have been a pleasure to use and to colour in.

Card#1
RAM Christmas Noel Image printed onto 210gsm cardstock, coloured in with Copics, highlights with Kindy Glitz.  Handmade background ruling lines with Copics.  Centre panel cut with Spellbinders Deckle edge dies & edges highlighted with Kindy Glitz and added to cardfront using foam squares.

Card#2
RAM Christmas Joy Image printed onto 210gsm cardstock, coloured in with Copics, highlights with Kindy Glitz.  Green DP used for a background.  Centre panel cut with Spellbinders Deckle edge dies & edges highlighted with Green Copics and added to cardfront using foam squares.

Card#3
RAM Christmas Merry Image printed onto 210gsm cardstock, coloured in with Copics, highlights with Kindy Glitz.  Striped DP used for a background with edges 'stressed' to add interest.  Centre panel cut with Rectangle Dies and added to cardfront using foam squares.

Card#4
RAM Australian Birds Image printed onto 210gsm cardstock, coloured in with Copics, highlights with Kindy Glitz.  DP used for a background.  Centre panel cut with 'scalloped edge' die and added to cardfront using foam squares.

I created a background in Photoshop, printed onto 210gsm cardstock, and foiled with 'Mini Minc' in Red foil.  The RAM Kangaroo Christmas Surprise image was printed onto 210gsm cardstock, coloured with Watercolour Pencils, highlights with Kindy Glitz.  Image was then fussy cut, and added to cardfront with foam squares.

Noel

I have a new card to share today.

A little while back, I left a comment on Christina Griffiths' Blog and I won a prize - it was a Die Cutting Essentials magazine, which included a free die set.

It took a little while to get here .... all the way from the U.K. and this weekend I have had time to have a quick play.

Inspired by the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #577, I used the snowflake & Noel from this free set and combined it with a Spellbinders Snowflake I already had. I die cut everything from silver holographic card & layered with black card to add dimension.  A strip was cut from black leathergrain cardstock scaps.  I thought the plain white background was a bit too plain, so I used some black, grey & silver inks to do some paint splatters, with a final touch of teeny tiny stars for some bling.

A Christmas Card fits in with the Happy Little Stampers AG Christmas Challenge , and the Christmas Crafts All year Round March Challenge of '3 red hens' or 3 of anything dictated the number of snowflakes .... all in all, the card came together relatively quickly.

The 52 Christmas Card Throwdown March Challenge of Black & Silver inspired my choice of colours, but sadly, I was too late to link my card up  (I will leave the link anyway - go visit and check it out)

Thank you again, Christina, I love visiting your blog and seeing your work.  I think I will enjoy playing some more with this die set.

Are you on the naughty list or the nice list?

Merry Christmas to you all!  I finally got some time to do some Christmas cards for close family and friends.

Here is my selection for this year :)  I went with a fun light-hearted feel this year.

Inspired by an old 'one-sheet-wonder' I spied somewhere online, I set about cutting up some Christmas DP

I knew I wanted to use up some new stamps - MFT Jingle All The Way (I think that is what they are called)

I even did some colouring in with Copics, complete with an attempt at shading  LOL

and I saved the best one till last!  Specially for all the Aussies out there - over the last few days through most of Australia, we have been experiencing a heatwave - here in Adelaide, we have had 4 days of 42C+  ......

.... so here is shirtless Father Christmas giving a wave!
