Heartfelt Sympathy

Sadly, I was in need of another sympathy card, this time for another member of my camera club who was also the previous President, Allan, who unexpectedly lost his Father.

This beautiful shimmer cardstock was from Blue Edge Crafts, the two step stamps from Stampin' Up (Heartfelt Thanks) - stamped with green ink, then gold embossed.

I wanted to keep it simple, as it was for a male but I also wanted to be a little creative as his mother is a cardmaker too, and I felt she would appreciate the handmade touch.

It is approaching time to replace my Stampin' Up inks - they have only lasted 10 years!  So it just goes to show ..... you buy the best you can afford, store them correctly and they will reward you with years of service! ;)

Get Well Soon

Not much crafting going on in the craft room :(

However, I did make a 'Get Well' card for one of members in my camera club.  He had been in a terrible car accident, but was definitely on the road to recovery!

His presence is missed at the club, but we hope to see him back real soon!

Image is from Meljens Designs, a digital freebie I have had for ages, cardstock is from Blue Edge Crafts and I have used foil, with double-sided tape for the stripes (also from Blue Edge Crafts).
