I came across a new challenge site, thanks to one of the members of the CraftMad forum. It is http://sheetload.blogspot.com/ where they provide a sketch, and let you know all the supplies that you will need to make a 'sheetload' of cards.
I thought I would give it a go. I am very impressed with the instructions provided (even though measurements are in inches ;-( )
I decided to make one card first, and stuck with the black, white & red colour scheme.
I already had a black card, so I adjusted the measurments of the other pieces to stay relatively true to the layout.
Black & white doubleside patterned paper was used, along with red cardstock which was run through cuttlebug using swiss dots folder. Stamped images & sentiment came from Inkadinkado Cupcake set, paper flowers were embellished with red bling. Cupcake image was coloured in with watercolours and highlighted with kindy glitz/stickles.EDITED: here are the cards I made following the sheetload instructions. I decided to get an early start on my Christmas Card stash.
Did you spot the odd one out? I had to use a different paper for the last one - the patterend paper I originally chose was not quite big enough to provide 6 squares.
