Kaye took pity on me and sent me a a kit that was left over  ;-)

My latest craft swap

Over on CraftMad, we have regular monthly swaps.    Some of us are hoping to actually meet up in person in October 2013 in Brisbane, so we decided to do a money box swap.

I have already received mine - here is a pic ;-)

I love it ................ very me ;-)

After struggling to come up with an idea, I attempted to put a wooden kit together.  With Christmas it got a bit waylaid - I started sanding in preparation of decorating and there it sat for a while.  When I came to put it together, it needed more sanding as the slots did not fit properly :(  then after decorating, I decided to test putting it together to see how it was coming along - it didn't fit again, and in my eagerness frustration, I broke some bits.  So it got put aside for a few days.

After some thought, I decided to emulate what my partner had sent me and decorated a box.  So here is my creation.
