Halfway point for UnstampaBelles Ribbon Challenge

It's the halfway point for UnstampaBelles and here is a card to provide a bit of inspiration.

As mentioned in a previous post, I got some goodies from Blue Edge Crafts at the Craft Fair and here is one of the cards I made ;-)

Everything was provided (except the glue) in the pack - including an envelope.

Square card embossed using Crafters Companion Ultimate Pro embossing board.  Tag is embellished with rub-ons, martini glass and cherry and tag attached with foam dots, flowers & gem attached with glue.

I gave this card to my niece on the weekend, as well as a scarfe I knitted for her ;-)

We also celebrated my Zoe's (my Great Niece) Birthday on the weekend, but I forgot to take my camera - I can't believe I did that  ;-(  There was face painting and balloon making - that will teach me, I will never forget to take my camera to a family get together ever again!

I did manage to snaffle my nephew's camera and take a few shots for him - it was a bit weird using a different camera, but I managed to get a few good shots!

The Belles together at the Salisbury Craft Fair

I went to the Craft Fair today and had an absolutely wonderful time ;-)

I caught up with fellow UnstampaBelles Mandy and Beth at the Blue Edge Crafts Stall 

then I bumped into a very dear friend I hadn't seen in such a long time

we have known each other since about 1967 ;-)

it was so good to see Kevina again - we have swapped phone numbers 

and will be catching up for a coffee real soon ;-)

UnstampaBelles Challenge #12 - Ribbon

Challenge #12 for UnstampaBelles started today and I was late ;-(


Thankfully, I didn't get sent to Detention for being tardy ;-)


The theme this month is 'ribbon'.

Challenge #12 - Ribbon 

All entries are subject to the Design Teams discretion.

Any form of paper creation will be accepted as long as NO STAMPS (Digital or Rubber) have been used (this includes sentiments).

This challenge closes Friday, 29th June 2012 and Winners will be announced Monday, 2nd July 2012 - Remember we are working on Aussie Time.

No Stamps! This means no rubber stamps, no digital stamps, clipart or line art which includes pre-coloured versions. Inclusive of sentiment stamps.

Now for my DT entry.

Simple pink card embossed using Cuttlebug, Ribbon placed on front, layered on darker card, then layered onto white card.  With no sentiment on front, the card could be suitable for several situations

'Thinking of You', 'Thank You', 'Happy Birthday' even 'Sorry'.

(I have trimmed the ribbon better ;-)  since taking the photo)
