15 years ago ...........

Today marks 15 years since Diana, Princess of Wales died. 

We were watching television, when they interrupted the show with a news report.

Where were you when you heard?

I thought it was fitting that I came across this photo whilst sorting out my craft room. I was going through a box of stuff I haven't touched for many years and came across this .....

I think it deserves to be put in a photo frame ;-)

First Communion

Today my nephew is celebrating his First Communion and here is the card I made for him.

not only do I struggle with cards for males ..........

but I also struggle with religious cards ............


As a celebratory present, we gave him a Dual Alarm Clock with an iPod dock - now he can wake up every morning to his favourite music ;-)

In my venture to clean up my craft room, and re-use old supplies, I came across a lovely card I had made in a class a while ago, and thought it was absolutely perfect for this months challenge.

This card was made utilising the paint colour samples you can get from the hardware store, and uses two sizes of the same punch.  Place a brad in the middle and you have a cute paper flower.

Nursery Wall Art for Jackson

Happy Birthday Liam!

It is my nephew's 10th Birthday.

We celebrated on the weekend by having the best party - pizza and cake ;-)

I used a free cutting file from www.birdscards.com - these files are a joy to work with!

And here is my present for him ;-)

Liam's parents asked me if I could do up a clock for him and utilise the wallpaper that has been used in decorating his bedroom.  This is what I eventually came up with :-)  

I am actually quite pleased with how it turned out. - here it is hanging in his room.

Liam was quite pleased too (it replaced a hand-me-down clock from his brother) ;-)
