UnstampaBelles Challenge #16 - Recycling (no stamps)

Challenge #16 for UnstampaBelles starts today.

The theme this month is 'Recycling' and we are sponsored by CraftMad  - my go to forum for craftiness conversation.

Prize for Challenge #16
Craft Mad is a craft community for anyone and everyone who enjoys anything to do with crafts. Every member has their own gallery space to display their work as well as view everyone else's.
There are regular craft swaps and sketch challenges as well.

All entries are subject to the Design Teams' discretion.
Any form of paper creation will be accepted as long as NO STAMPS (Digital or Rubber) have been used.

You can find our rules here for further information.

This challenge closes Friday, 2nd November 2012 and Winners will be announced Monday, 5th November 2012 - Remember we are working on Aussie Time.

Due to graphic technology any entry with a graphic image will be subject to the Design Teams' discretion and we will contact you if we feel the entry does not meet the ethos of our challenge blog.

Now for my DT entry.

I went rifling through my old stash to see what I could recycle ;-)  I came across some bits and pieces lying around - left over bits from previous cards, left over ribbons .. and this is what I came up with.

Bears were left over from a previous card - I used up two different yellow off cuts, sentiment is a rub-on, ribbon is the tail end of a roll.

Whilst doing a bit of a tidy up on the drive, I also came across this old photo of a card I made for a work colleague that was leaving the architect firm I was working for at the time.

It was a great way to recycle smaller bits of cardstock and patterned papers
and a great use of toothpicks ;-)  Toothpicks were cut in half, and coloured in with markers.

Please visit the UnstampaBelles blog and see last month's entries and check out the winner.

There are some amazing entries and I know I say it every month, but it really is getting very hard for the DT to pick a favourite!

Thank you for visiting my blog today - I hope you have a good day.

Remember, any day doing something you love makes it a good day ;-)

Doing what you like is freedom. Liking what you do is happiness.
