Challenge #3 - UnstampaBelles - Animals

Challenge #3 for UnstampaBelles is up and running.

A quick recap of the rules:

No Stamps! This means no rubber stamps, no digital stamps, clipart or line art which includes pre-coloured versions. Inclusive of sentiment stamps.

Due to graphic technology any entry with a graphic image will be subject to the Design Teams' discretion and we will contact you if we feel the entry does not meet the ethos of our challenge blog.

A technique challenge will be included as a bonus.  This will not be a requirement for an entry but if you do use the nominated technique in your project, it will count as two entries for you.

The Theme this month is Animals and the Bonus Technique is Dry Embossing, if you include this technique, you will get a bonus entry.

I am sponsoring this month's challenge and the prize will be:

Two butterfly sticker sheets (1 silver, 1 gold), 1 pack dragonfly gems, 1 pack dragonfly emellishments, 3 embossed white butterflies, 10 sheets patterned vellum

This Challenge will close Friday, 30th September 2011.  A winner will be drawn at random and announced when Challenge #4 is posted (along with the team faves), on Monday, 3rd October 2011.

Now, onto my DT entry and further to my quest to make non-girly cards ;-)

Black base card, red background embossed using the Happy Birthday folder in the Cuttlebug, highlighted with peel-off stickers.

The gorgeous dog is a GSD file for the CraftROBO which was available from Risalenee HERE (unfortunately, the file is not available any more).  I have used a few of Lisa's files in the past and they are an absolute gem to cut and wish to thank her for her generosity.

your cards are really great, I do not know how you manage to quilt as well. Anyone who gets your cards must feel so special.

  2. Love this dog...he is such a happy chappy. That embossed red background is just perfect too.

  3. This is such a wonderful card, love the non-girlyness about it! Most of my cards are rather girly.
That is one cute puppy too! TFS xx
