This is the first card I am at least half happy with LOL
While I was deciding which nesties to use to cut out my image, I came across the current TimelessTuesday challenge and it suggests to extend creations outside the frame! The glasses were extending beyond my nesties frame and I did not want to go up to the next size as it would be too big for the scalloped edge! So, a perfect solution to my problem!
I started positioning my card with the current CraftMad card sketch challenge in mind, but no matter what I tried, the two embellishments across the bottom just did not work - so I changed it a bit ;-)
I am struggling with my nephew's wedding card - I have posted two pics in the hope that I can get some guidance.
Below is the same card, but turned on it's side and some flourishes added.
What do you think? Any suggestions?
I want the card to be simply elegant - I am not sure if the card is making the statement that I want.
Beautiful a perfect male birthday card,love it!! Stunning Wedding cards,they are very elegant and beautiful as they are!!If you are still not happy,maybe you could change the square panel to a heart if you have one.I have the Spellbinder nested hearts and can cut some for you if you want.

Thank you Cheryl for your offer of cutting some hearts out, you are most generous. I love your suggestion about using hearts and will use my CraftROBO to cut the hearts out. Stay tuned for an update!
ReplyDeleteI think all these cards are wonderful. The colours in the male card and the ribbon tabs around the oval are brilliant. The wedding cards just stunning.
