Just Magnolia Challenge #1

I came across a brand new blog during the week. The Just_Magnolia_Challenge Blog started off with it's first challenge - a sketch. The only condition is that it must have at least one magnolia image on it. Well, let me say that is all I needed to know. You most probably realise by now I have been well and truly smitten by Tilda.
When deciding what to do with this sketch, I was already lending towards doing it in soft tones - I like the way the watercolours are working for me. So I searched my stash and came across some lovely designer papers in soft muted tones.
I watercoloured Tilda, giving her a green top - there is green in the background paper, but I think I have covered it up - oops! paper flowers & bling (of course!) were applied, ric rac across the top and the final touch of a very fine border using Gold Gel Pen around the stamped image & sentiment.
I could not resist adding just a touch of kindy glitz on the wings! edited: better quality photos were added
